How do you get the top of the washer up to change out the lid switch?

You don’t, you have to remove the cabinet.
You start off by removing the screw on each side of the console (number 49 on the pic below) ![]() Now watch this.. YouTube - Whirlpool Direct Drive Cabinet Now you should be able to reach the lid switch. |
