Default Door will not lock
Model Number: KHWS01PMT2   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 1 - 5 years

This machine is very similar to the Whirlpool Duet so if you are not familar with this model, perhaps you have had experence with its sister

Door to front loader will occasionally lock. Error code DLF is displayed which is accurate. Have replaced switch/lock asm and sometimes works, and sometimes not. Have wiggled all connections. When working I have voltage to the solinoid for the lock, when not working it has no voltage. Running through the test cycle, seems to make it work for a while.
Is this a computer problem, I hear the 6 clicks from the computer, before it gives the error code when it will not lock. Additional diagnostic ideas?

Is the solinoid voltage AC or DC I measured on the AC scale, but thought solinoids were DC or electromagnics. Is the voltage still applied after the door locks, or does it stop and then sends out voltage again to unlock the door at end of cycle? IE how much time do I have to measure voltage from when I push the start button?
