Unhappy Kenmore Washer gushing water from bottom, Can the pump be the problem?
Model Number: 110.16502690   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 5 - 10 years

I'm not sure what the problem is, The washer is leaking large amounts of water from the bottom, I recently replaced the coupling and the problem was a minor leak, now it is major. I think my pump is bad, could this be it? I've checked the bottom hose, it's ok. Thank you, Nancy in Atlanta!

Pull off the outer cover and run the washer, should be able to see where the water is coming from, you might have a loose clamp or a bad pump.
