I can press power and turn on machine and the "add a garment" light is lit up, but once I press start the machine shuts off.

It's less than a year old and I went through all the trouble shooting instructions, what else is there to do?

If your machine is less than 1 year old it should be covered by factory warranty and you should get in home service for free.

If you still have questions please post your full model number.
