Washer doesnt spin

Model Number: LSQ8543JQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years

My washer seems to work great through the wash cycles but when it reaches the rinse/spin cycles it makes a loud noise and will not spin. I've tried a few things but have not been very successful.
