I just changed gearbox on my Kitchenaid washer and now it seems to agitate much harder then before? After replacing the gear box I filled the water to a light load and as it agitates it actually splashes some water out from the open lid??? The model number of the washer is KAWS700GQ0 and the gearbox part number used in the replacement is B0028081 item 423 it looks the same as the one I removed from the washer. is this normal or do I have another problem??

The factory replacement part number for this model is 3360629. I would check to see if B0028081 subs to the number I gave you.
It is normal for water to splash out of the basket in small loads.
