Model Number: 110-46462500 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
My wife was using this washer, it took water in than just stopped working,
the door stays locked but there is no progress in cycles. power ok Cycle circiut breaker and it will take in more water and you can select spin and drain and it will pump water out but will not spin Removed power for 5 min. to reset controls still no change I do not hear any motor activation after load was put back in and washer refilled. It will only let water in only after power is removed by cycling breaker I am not sure where to start The washer doesn't seem to be advancing to the next cycle. I need help on where to start or a repair manual so I can begin to diagnose. Help please Ads By Google Related Models |

There should be a tech sheet inside the lower access panel (or under the top) which will take you through some troubleshooting.
Here is a service manual for your Whirlpool made washer. https://secured.whirlpool.com/Servic...LE/8178558.pdf

Thank you
I found the manual inside the bottom cover I tried the diagnostic and I believe I have a code F20 pressure switch or pressure problem It also stated to push cancel twice to stark pump for 3 min. pump never started so we removed the trap and about 1 quart I tried to open the manual site again and it still does not open I went to sears site and could not find a pressure switch or location By the discription it sounds like it is in the drum or water inlet lines I searched this site and it doesn't reconize the mod. # Maybe you can help me with that so I rechecked the # 110.46462500 I plan to spend some time with the unit tomorrow I'll check in the afternoon. Thanks |

Whirlpool has had some problems with their site recently, so that may be what you are experiencing.
If you go to the Sears parts site and use your model number without any dashes or dots you should get to an exploded view of your machine. I got to this site this morning, so try this link again. https://secured.whirlpool.com/Servic...LE/8178558.pdf

Click on that link. It will say done and look like nothing is happening but let the computer alone for a while and the manual should come up.
You can access the switch by taking off the top.

ok I think I'm figuring this thing out
The only thing that I seem to get to work is what is called service history mode & diagonstic test I get 2 codes F/01 eeprom error ccu board & F 20 no water pressure dected At this time I have nothing operating except the door lock I have checked the water hoses and screens all ok I removed the back and I beleive I have located the pressure switch and wiring and hose seems to be intact I'm just about to order a electronic control from sears because I can not seem to find it on this site it also doesn't reconize the model # 110.46462500 Do you think I'm doing the right thing sears wants $118.00 for a control or should I start with the pressure switch |

Boy I wish I knew. If you have a Whirlpool Tech visit your house (you have a Whirlpool Duet Sport sold under the Sears Kenmore brand name) the tech would bring a truck full of parts and switch them out until he or she found the right combination that fixed things.
If water is not entering the machine I would go with replacing the CCU. If it is, entering then the pressure switch may be a better choice. Were you able to get the manual? Good luck, let us know how it works out.
