Hello,

We've had our GE Profile Harmony washer for roughly 1.5 years. We do about 3 loads of laundry a day so it is used on a regular basis. Recently we started to hear, for lack of a better word, a screaming/whining noise whenever the tub spins. It doesn't sound like a belt squeal but more of a high pitch whinning sound. The squeal increase/decreases with the speed of the drum. When the drum is spinning at it's fastest the noise raises in volume and pitch. This is a hard one to explain!!! We did buy a 5 year extended warranty for both the Washer and dryer because we thought that since the washer and dryer talk to other via a usb port it could get costly repairing them.
Thanks for any help given:)

Why have you not called for warranty service?

Even without your extended warranty the parts should be covered by GE for two years.
