Blows the breaker

Model Number: WX42000 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years

Help! My washer blows the breaker when it changes cycles. There is also a smell of burning rubber. The spin cycle has not been spinning the clothes dry like it used to. I took it apart but don't know where to begin to look.
