Washer inner tub turns cw and ccw
Model Number: FAV6800AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
The inner tub starts to spin clockwise while the tmblers are turning. As a result, the tub starts banging against all sides. The spin cycle is fine. The tub spins counter clockwise in the spin cycle. The repair guy has replaced the clutch, and transmission. No good. Based on what the reair guy said and some threads I've read on the internet, the tub should not spin clockwise at all. Does any one know what keeps the inner tub from spinning clockwise?
