Well, we noticed that the clothes were coming out of our washer still wet when wash cycle completes. After a little checking I've found:

* The washer appears to run other cycles correctly
* The washer appears to be draining properly
* Agitation appears to function properly
* If you unload the washer, set to spin, it starts slowly but will spin, speed seems a little slower than it should be though
* You can hear the motor running as it would normally in all cycles
* Washer stops normally if you release the lid switch

When the tub does start to spin, you can apply relatively light pressure and stop the tub. With a load of clothes it does not seem to spin at all or spins very slowly. I have seen posts here suggesting that this could be a problem with the drive block but I have not seen anything suggesting what to look for when inspecting it.

So, my questions are thus:

Does this sound like the drive block?

What should I look for on a drive block to determine if it is my issue?

What should I check next?

Sounds more like the clutch, which is an easy and inexpensive repair. (Don'tcha just love hearing that)

Here is some instructions on how to change it out and you can check the drive block on the way in.
