Washer makes loud noise does not spin
Model Number: LSN2000JQO Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Washer makes a very loud noise, does not agitate or spin but the water did drain. Does anyone know what this could possibly be?

You could have a transmission issue,but first check and see if the coupling is ok. This site will show you how.
