I replaced the leaking pump in my washer and ran fine for the first few loads. Then the water started showing up again on the floor. I now have found out that the top seal is basically shot. I took it off and all, but now I am having trouble finding the new seal. I read somewhere about some type of 3M sealant to use and "you will never have the problem again" Does anyone know what this sealant is? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Never heard about such solution but if you can post the complete model number of the washer we might be able to help you with the right part.
