how do you remove the agitator to service the transmission tube seal on this model

There should be a bolt under the cap at the top of the agitator, after you get that off grab the bottom of the agitator and pull off. If it is stuck, put a rope under the agitator and pry it out with a 2x4 with the top of the washer as a pry point.
Go to web site www.applianceaid.com for info on this, this is a big job and I have declined to fix these!
