I purchased repair parts to stop my washer seal from leaking onto transmission.
I was instructed to also change bearing.

When I received the new parts, the bearing included a new sleeve that is supposed to be replaced.
Because the seal was leaking, the bearing sleeve seems to be rusted to the shaft. I don't want to damage the shaft and would like a suggestion on how to remove the old sleeve.

I just spray WD-40 on it, locate the tranny verticle grooves and use a heavy long bolt to pound upward on it till it comes off.
