Clothes are still very wet when coming out of washer. There is no water in the bottom of tub. I checked pump and hoses and all seem OK. The washer seems to agitate OK but won't spin fast enough to get water out of clothes. The clothes aren't plastered against the side of the tub after spinning. I have a sears diagram and am fairly handy but have no experience with washers. I don't believe there is anything between tub and liner. Also can you tell me how to get the top to raise up. Thanks for any help. Bill

Take off the cabinet and check the pump and hoses thoroughly. If you clothes are too wet either the drain is blocked, the pump is not working correctly or the spinning is too slow. If the spinning is too slow the clutch is a likely problem. This site will show you how to take off the cabinet, and if you decide to replace the clutch it will show you how to do that also.
