Hello-
Washer fills and goes through was cycle normally. I can here it enter what would be the drain portion of the spin cycle, but tub does not empty. No noise is heard as if the pump is attempting to do so. Washer then begins to spin as if tub were empty. Pump right?
BUT then at the end of the cycle the washer does not stop. It continues into the next setting (i.e., Regular continues right into Permanent Press).

Thanks-
Ed

See if you can observe the motor while the machine is in drain mode. If it is not turning, that is the reason your pump is not draining the tub.

In this case the timer is your likely suspect.
