Model Number: 110.68932790 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years

The first thing I would check is 240V at the power outlet.
Then you have to check the following parts for continuity: 1. The heating element (#14 on the break down diagram) 2. The thermal cut-off (#47 on the break down diagram) 3. The high limit thermostat (#48 on the break down diagram) 4. The thermistor (#42 on the break down diagram) 5. The temperature switch (#33 on the break down diagram) The following article on our forum will explain in detail how to run a continuity test using either an analog meter or a digital meter – How to check continuity with Ohmmeter. Any of these parts with an open circuit must be replaced. - The part number for the heating element is AP2947033 - The part number for the thermal cut-off (including the high limit thermostat) is AP3094224 - The part number for the thermistor is AP3919451 - The part number for the high limit thermostat is AP2973862 - The part number for the temperature switch is AP3037418 Gene.
