Agitator agitates during spin cycle??
Model Number: PAVT920AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a Performa top loading washer. At first i smelled something burning, now my agitator agitates during the spin cycle. The the wash basket will spin also , but slowly. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong with it??

Sounds like you need to replace the transmision.. the gears are not separating..
