Model Number: lat2500aae Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I had used the washer earlier in the day. I went to wash a load last night and got nothing. We think it is the timer.

The wiring diagram for your model shows an in line fuse coming from the power source into the timer. I would check that first, along with your breaker. You don't want to spend money on parts until you are certain you have 120v coming to the timer.
Here is a service manual that covers your model. http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...(16001145).pdf
