Kenmore Top Loading
Model Number: 110.24642300 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I loaded the washer and the water filled, but then nothing. The dial did not move forward. When I turn it to other cycles - nothing. When I open and close the lid - there is no sound or any click. It just stopped. I used the washer two days ago and it was fine.

Probably a bad lid switch. To verify, use a wire jumper to bypass the switch right at the lid switch connector behind the control panel. Just jumper the outer pins, and ignore the middle ground wire.
