loud squeeking noise during spin cycle
Model Number: FWS445RFS3 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
My top load washer squeeks loudly during spin cycle, I have cover off and am trying to pin point location. It seems to be coming from right under the tub. I dont know what the big grayish metal thing that spins , but it soud to be coming from above or below that. Also that last 2 or 3 spins before it stops completly turning the sound stops. Thanks for any info

after further searching on the web, the part i couldnt name is the transmission, the sqeek is comimg from the top or bottom of it, i cant tell which, like i said before the final 2 or 3 revolutions of the trans mission before it comes to a complete stop there is no sound only when it is turning fast...........
