Question A little guidance, please
Model Number: LWD35AW   Brand: Amana   Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi there.

My washer has leaked on to the main bearing and is causing an ungodly racket, so I plan on replacing the hub seal and bearing. I already plan on ordering the hub and seal kit and the bearing. I've completely disassembled the thing with the exception of the actual hub assembly, of which the method of removal eludes me. Any help would be appreciated.

there are special tools to get this off, if you can do this job, you might consider an appliance repair career because this is as hard as it gets.
