The washer fills and agitates but will not drain. Multiple cycle settings (perm press, handwash, etc.) all have the same problem. I suspect the pump - but don't want to replace if it is something else. Is there an easy test for pump failure?

Thanks for any suggestions.

if it spins, you probably have something stuck in the pump, or the hose that comes from the tub to the pump.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll check that.
