My washer is 2 years old. It will not start a cycle. Green door lock light does not come on. I am wondering if it should come on to ensure the door is locked before a cycle start. Is this a lock problem or something simple that I can do. Please respond. Thank you.

It may be the door lock, or it may be a communications problem between the door lock assembly and the control board (or it may be something else entirely, but probably not). Use this service manual to put the machine into test mode, and also inspect all of the wiring between the door lock assembly and the control unit. http://frigidaireservicetips.co...rizontalAxisWasherSM.pdf
