Washer Knocks during aggitation cycle
Model Number: mtw5820two Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
During the normal cycle aggitation my washer knocks loudly.

You'll have to fool the machine into "thinking" there's water in the tub to do this: Remove the agitator and set it into a cycle. If you hear the knocking, you may have a transmission going bad.
