Good Day. :) I recently purchased a five year old Whirlpool Estate washing machine (model # TAWS700RQ1). Everything works great except for the spin cycle. I did transport it on its side in my SUV and I'm not sure if this contributed to the issue with the spin cycle or if it was pre-existing. The washer looks clean and new all around. What can I do to fix the spin cycle on my own? In reviewing the forum I see it could be a cluth band or a lid switch issue. Please advise and recommend needed resoultion. Thank you! :)

Engage the spin cycle. If you hear the motor running but the machine is not spinning the clutch is likely the problem. If the motor will not run, the lid switch is likely the problem. You can confirm this by by-passing it as this site explains.
