Default Maytag tub bangs when it stops spinning
Model Number: Ensignia   Brand: Maytag   Age: Less than 1 year   
When spin cycle stops, the tub stops so hard that it bangs and the whole machine twists. I just replaced thedrain tube from the tub to the pump. Any ideas why this is occurring.

Your spin brake is bad. It is binding rather than giving friction to stop.

You will need to replace the brake.
