washer spins to slow
Model Number: sav2555aww Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
washer spins to slow and doesn,t remove enough water from clothes. the belt was replaced about 6 months ago. the belt is not slipping. the washer is not spinning fast enough during spin cycle like it used to.

Replacement parts for MAYTAG SAV2555AWW Washer - Top Loading | AppliancePartsPros.com Here is the tech sheet and manual http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...s/16022733.pdf http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...s/16022937.pdf I would check if the spin speed is different during a Permanent Press Knit cycle the mid spins should use the medium speed while the last spin should use high speed. Perhaps it is not using the high motor speed for the last spin. This could be the timer or the motor. Most likely it is mechanical and the brake is slipping.
