Washer will not stop filling and tub leaks
Model Number: ALW880AQC Brand: Amana Age: 1 - 5 years
The washer will not stop filling up. I noticed on this blog that this may be a problem with the pressure hose switch that may of come off. Mine after filling up and turning timer to get it to stop filling up and spin out I noticed a steady stream of water leaking from the left front of the bottom outer tub. Could that be caused by the pressure hose switch?

Remove the bottom panel and check the pressure bulb and the pressure hose (#13 & #15 on the outer tub break down diagram).
Post your findings. Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana washer Model ALW880QAC Gene.
