Model Number: 110-72982600 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
I recently replaced the timer because I assumed that if the knob wouldn't advance on its own that the timer was bad. I can manually advance the cycles and they work fine. The knob just won't turn on its own. The new timer made no difference! I know this is an older model and I can find very little info on it I don't want to sink much more money into it but since I already spent the $90 for the timer thought I would post for help? ( Kenmore 110*72982600 washer)

Is it filling with cold water? If the machine does not fill with cold water the timer will stall in the rince cycle.
Also, if the drain hose is stuffed far down the stand pipe, the timer will get stuck in the perma-press cycle. Matt |
