Angry clothes washer
Model Number: A3400   Brand: Maytag   Age: 5 - 10 years   
Washer agitator is making a lot of noise when spinning. Sort of sounds like the clothes are not uniform in the tub, but that is not the case. This thumping occurs everytime the washer is in spin cycle. Also, some of my clothes are coming out with black streaks on them. PLEASE HELP.

Sounds like you have a bad transmission. That is the only thing I can think of that will give both a strange sound in spin and leave streaks on clothes.
