We disconnected washer to do some remodeling and when we connected the water lines the hot water will not fill into the washer. We have cleaned the screens and the line. Is there some type of value that closes and will not let the water come through. The cold water line is working.

The water valve that lets in the cold water has probably stop working.

Disconnect the wiring to the cold water valve and test to see if you 120v coming to it when it is supposed to be filling with cold water. If so, replace the valve assembly.

Here is the part.

Part number: AP4026239
