My washer stopped spinning, So of course I took it apart. I found that one side of the motor coupling was broken in half. I glued it back together and let it set over night unfortunetly it didn't hold. My question I guess is, is there that much torque there or did I not put it back together right, I ordered a new one just a few minutes ago and I want to make sure I am not doing some thing wrong. I am a little confussed wether or not I need to line up the Basket drive and brake assembly and Clutch assembly a certian way or if I just slide everything back together and I'm good to go? I just don't want to brake the new motor coupling when I put everthing back together.

The replacement motor coupling has a metal lining to prevent that part from breaking in the future. it is not possible to repair the coupling because there is way too much torque. There is no certain way to line it all back up just make sure the coupling slides in place and put the motor clips back on and all that good stuff and your good to go
