I have just replaced a LG pump motor on my front load washer but cannot remeber for the life of me how it was wired up. There are two motors and they are identical. The wire harness has a black wire and a blue wire for one motor and the other set of wires are black and orange. The markings on the motors have the letters "L" on one receptical and the letter "N" on the other. Does anyone have any idea what wire goes to the "L" and what wire goes to the "N"?

I am thinking the N is for neutral and the L is for Line or hot wire, but I cannot tell you which of your wires coming to the motors are hot or neutral. Here is a service manual with a wiring diagram, but I am not sure you can determine the connections from that.

I recommend you contact LG and see if you can get a confirmation from them.
