Take off the front panel (it should be held on by two screws) and check the belt. Sometimes it is damaged in a way that will allow the machine to agitate but not spin.

If the belt is ok, see if transmission pulley will turn. If it does, then see if the motor will engage when you put the machine in the spin cycle with the belt off the pulley.

If it will the problem is something jammed in the transmission, if not, take off the pump and see if it is jammed.

Here is a service manual for your model which will provide some details on how to do and what to do.
