I have an Estate washer. It will fill with water but will not do any thing else.
I've checked the lid switch and it is working fine (i.e. I used an ohm meter). I assumed it was the timer, because I would put it on a spin cycle or any other mode and it would not move, so I replaced it. The washer has the same failure mode. Any suggestions?

Does it drain when you put it in the spin cycle?

I would jumper the lid switch, sometimes meters give a faulse reading, or the switch will arc open when 115 volts hits it.
