Water wont stop running in machine even when switch is off
Model Number: cav2004aww Brand: Magic Chef Age: 5 - 10 years
Help!! The washer still fills up even when the button is pushed in resulting in water overflowing in the floor. Please tell me what I can do to fix this problem!!!

If the water continues to enter the machine even when the machine is off then your valve is stuck in an open position and needs to be replaced.
Here is the part Part number: AP4024482 and here is a service manual for your Maytag manufactured machine which will show you how to get to it. All in all, an easy and inexpensive repair. http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...s/16023083.pdf
