washing machine wont spin
Model Number: lat9406aae Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Machine working normally - then stopped spinning. Have removed belts and they appear to be loose. Motor spins without belts on. Tried to turn shaft manually--will rotate twice clockwise before it stops. Will rotate counter-clockwise with no restriction. Are there brake shoes on my clutch? I tried to break it loose - no change.
Does the motor rotate the shaft back and forth or in just one direction? What do you suggest? Ads By Google Related Models
