My washer is leaking around the hose that connects to the plactic tube on the outer tub. Tightening the hose clamp doesn't help. The hose and the plastic tube appear to be ok. Is there another seal from the tub that connects to this plastic tube?

Replace the parts in this diagram and you should be all set.

Like the earlier poster from 2 years ago, I have an Amana ALW480DAW that just started to leak. I immediately opened the front and noticed water leaking from the plastic tube coming from the bottom of the tub. I thought this would be an easy fix by just tightening the hose clamp. But that didn't solve the problem.

Update to the above. After watching closer it's obvious I have a seal leak. I filled the tub again and used a better flashlight. Water was obviously dripping around the triangle seal.

Is the full kit recommended? Or can I just purchase the main seal? Obviously, I'm looking at price.

Thoughts?
