Washed makes humming or whining while agitating. Delicate cycles are more quiet, regular cycles extremely loud. seems as if the motor is having a hard time. Any guidance as where to look first? or how to trouble shoot? New to washer repair.
thanks.

It is difficult to diagnose this type of problem because the main way we do so is to listen to it and determine the area of the machine the noise is coming from, and we cannot do that here. This part kit is the one that solves many spin problems with your model, so you may want to instll it. Part number: AP4009132

Thanks for the reply. I put some oil on this bearing and the noise went away. Should I go ahead a replace it?

I wouldn't, as I subscribe heartily to the "if it aint broke don't fix it" philosophy.
