my speed queen HA4591w stopped agitating and I found the belt broken.
went to replace but find the agitator hard to rotate and it has a sock stuck under the plastic agitator.
I want to pull it off but the top cone doesent seem to unscrew or pull off.
I want to know how to dismantle it before I break it.
Thanks:)

Agitators on the speedqueen washers pull straight up ... I have struggled time and time again to pull the agitator in the past ... I advise using a tool called an agitamer ... There are no bolts and nothing unscrews ... The only time I have been successful pulling them by hand is when the oil seal is blown and oil has collected under the agitator.
