it is spinning like the first spin cycle sometime you turn timer back to power spin it works.

Since you can get it to power spin some of the time the likely suspect is the timer.

Here is the part.

but unfortunately it is a rather expensive part to change out on speculation.

I would take off the front panel by removing two screws at the bottom and then inspect the wiring for any problems. Here is a service manual for your machine or one very close to it.
