Model Number: mah5500bww Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
is it possible to remove the bearing at rear of housing,without removing tub assm. on neptune model mah5500bww

Actually, Maytag does not want you to remove the bearing at all! However some clever folks have developed a tool and a workaround.
