Maytag water level issue
Model Number: pav1000aww Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
I have a 12 year old Maytag Performa washer that only fills water 1/2 way even though it is set to super size fill level and then doesn't seem to fill at all in the rinse portion of the wash. If you hold the reset switch it will continue to fill until you let the knob go and then it stops. What is wrong and is it an easy fix/repair? Any help ?

There is a tube that runs between the water level control and the bottom of the washer tub. It sounds like the tube is practically clogged or leaking. If the tube is not clogged the water level control is bad. Clothes Washer Repair Guide
