Model Number: 110.20422990 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I have no idea the age. How do I determine the lid switch is bad? Is there a way to bypass the switch to see if my machine will spin and drain the tub?

Sounds like the lid switch is the first place to check. This site will show you how to take off the console and the text explains how to by-pass the switch.
