washing machine stops after agitating cycle, doesn't drain or proceed to next cycle
Model Number: kenmore 110-20722990 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
Washer stops after agitating sequence. It will not drain, or move any further through the rest of the rinse cycle or spin. If I lower the drain hose, water flows out.

The first thing I would do is check the lid switch (#11 on the diagram). You have to open the control panel to check it and remove the washer cabinet to replace it.
- The lid switch Part number: AP3100001 Gene.
