Hi Everyone,

Looking for a second opinion. My 4.5 yr old GE front load stackable washer has stopped working. The drum doesn't turn and there is a gap between the rubber tubing. The machine drains but doesn't spin.

I called a local repairperson to me and explained the problem and they said it would cost over $600+ for parts and service and said not worth it.

I don't want to think that after not even 5 years I need to buy a new washer.

I've looked online for parts and hard to find but just the drum is over $400.
The machine is currently stacked so I first need help to take the dryer off to get to the washer (I'm in a small condo).

I found this old YouTube video and my tub is exactly the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8EcTTL2lcI

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
