Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

When pulling out my wash the following part was mixed in with the laundry. I assume it came from somewhere inside the wash machine, but have no idea what it is. Can anyone help? It is about 1 1/4 inches diameter. Thanks in advance. I am hoping I can use the wash machine without this part.
