Wont Fill With Water
Model Number: wtw5840swo Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Knob To Control Water Level Appears To Be Stripped And When You Turn Washer On It Starts To Wash With No Water In It

Sounds like your water pressure switch will need to be replaced, but first check to make sure the tube from the switch to the tub is clear and unblocked.
If it is ok, then replace the switch and see if that does not solve your problem. If it does not, then the timer is the next suspect.
